Dr. Michael is a native of Grand Rapids, MI, where he grew up and went to Union high school. As a kid he was very active playing football, golf, swimming, hunting and fishing. He was also very active with fort building, playing hide-and-go-seek, and ball tag!  In high school Dr. Michael played football, hockey, baseball, and threw the shot and discus. After high school Dr. Michael attended Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) where he earned his Associates in Arts Degree. While attending GRCC he enrolled at Grand Valley State University (GVSU) where Dr. Michael earned his Bachelors of Science degree. After completing his undergrad education, he transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Michael received a second Bachelors of Science degree in Life Science from Logan College after his first two years of chiropractic college. Four years later he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic. At graduation he received several advanced certifications from Logan College’s Post Graduate Department including:  his Internal Health Specialist Certification and Advanced Pediatrics Care Certification. 

Personally, Dr. Michael has a strong devotion to his family and community. He is a local volunteer representative for the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Feeding America West Michigan, a board member for Turning Pages, and has developed many network associations with many local businesses. You might see him at local events checking people’s spines, leading workshops, or out loving life, and if you see him stop by and say hello! Dr. Michael currently enjoys any type of out door sport as well as a enjoying time with his family and fiends.
